Default Ubisoft downgrading PC games to match consoles

This company, if this is true, is garbage.

Ubisoft: Far Cry 4 with ultra-high settings will look the same on PC, PS4 and XB1

    ^How is that possible naturally?

The Division developer downgrading PC game?

In reference to The Division, the anonymous source went on to explain how the team is already downgrading the game’s graphics: “Right now we already took out quite a lot of screen space reflections from the game and are working on asset management as best as we can given the consoles unified memory.”

This is certainly disappointing news given that the Snow Drop Engine tech demo looked amazing as well as subsequent showings of The Division gameplay. The inside source also noted that Ubisoft won’t “admit that they actively downgrade games.

See this is what PC gamers get for hassling the console crowd. Instead of just enjoying your games and waiting until you got your enhanced port you had to attack the console crowd every chance you got. I hope you are happy now that everything looks the same.

I never did get video games anyway, so that one is lost on me....

I loved the N64 and a couple games on PC like the Driver series, Colin McRae rally series and Max Payne (the first one) that's about it - guess I grew up...

Playing video games is no more related to growing up than watching X-men movies or playing football on weekends. It's just a hobby that offers a wide range of challenges etc. Growing up could actually be the opposite of that sentiment.

Your tastes changed, but considering the age of the average gamer is around 31, it has nothing to do with growing up. Most games these days aren't even made for children.
    No one expects the Inquisition.

How am I a 'poser' if I'm not interested in video games? Is it posing to not like something, to exercise your freedom to choose not to like something because it just doesn't appeal to you? Acting as if I did like 'gaming' and spending tonnes of money on video games and associated paraphernalia because it is what everybody does and I wanted to look cool would be 'posing.' You could have just left the 'not a true gamer' comment because that is true but the 'poser' is just totally needless an not applicable, totally unwarranted - stuff like this is what causes 'flame-wars' that spill over into the streets!!!

You coulda just seen the comment and left it alone, but nooo, you had to open your mouth.... Mr. Loose-lip is one apparently with a mouth that will get him in trouble one of these days if he keeps that up.

    ROTFLMAO...way too easy.

Nothing wrong with being a poser. So chill.

Remember you stated "...I never did get video games anyway...",

So what's the problem. Why your undies in a knot?
