Another new technology from Nvidia. Sure it looks minor, but put together with their other techs and you got some sweet added features to supported games:

It's not new, its just taken them a while to make it useful.

Why is that better? Nobody has to screw up their game on the competitions hardware to use it. Another interesting thing is that if Nvidia doesn't block AMD gpus from using this tech, AMD gpus will do it better (uses compute, not physx). My guess is they will somehow build in a GPU check to slow it down on AMD gpus.

I really hope the witcher uses more open tech or at least makes physx that they might use available to be run on the CPU.

Well, you know it's a marketing ting and it's up to the developers as usual to support the techs in their games that the Video card companies help them fund.

We all know Nvidia has the most money here so they will always get tech support from the majority of game companies.

Watch Dogs was the biggest example. Game was much more optimized for Nvidia than is was for AMD because they worked closer with Ubisoft to implement their TXAA, etc techs.

All the games that fail recently have Game Works in it. The should just stop seriously.

If they even worked properly on Nvidia's cards it wouldnt be so bad.

The failing part is the developers fault really. Ubish*t is the biggest example as they keep rushing their games and not spending the time to test and polish it before releasing.

Most of the things nvidia yaps about are minor in impact. I hope they pick up some of amds open source stuff. Freesync being one they need.
