Default Perl - VMs n runtime

    Hi all

Is it possible to share a linux virtual machine Perl runtime with windows host?

How does Perl runtime work? If it is a server, then a windows perl instance could be networked to it. I don't know how to script with perl yet, so someone better should be around.
Sharing is caring? Then what if I care too much? A precarious situation, indeed...

As it turns out. This is NOT possible. If it is. It's a well kept secret.

Solution is to simply download a compatible windows ver (activestate perl is todays winner).

    Welcome to debug hell.

https://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Parrot_Virtual_Machine It is possible to SSH to the a Linux VM account and synchronise Windows calls I believe. https://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Parrot...Running_Parrot

You want to do Perl scripting but do not have anything proper on Windows, right? Then ssh into the linux VM and synchronise your clipboard and stuff.

No. Jesus Christ no. Geta prope Windows Perl, like the community version from ActiveState. Perl doesn't use a Bare Metal VM like higher grade VMWares do.
