    Do Blacklisted phones or phones with bad ESN's from the US work in Jamaica? Does anyone know?

    Long story short, it will probably work now, but it might not work forever. I have heard of cases of barred US phones not working in Latin America, so it isn't only a US/UK/EU thing. You can use these sites to try and check your IMEI, they aren't comprehensive, but its a start:
