Yeah...this tablet is interesting. I have an ipad 3 and a note 3 and have been toying with getting a android tablet and considering this particular one. Android tablets don't seem to offer the terrific standby time the ipad does though (charged to 100% and unplugged for 3-4 day and it's still at 100%) and the reviews also mention this note 10.1 2014 edition takes a whopping 6 hrs plus to charge from 0 to 100% - that's a LONG time.

Anyhow, awaiting thoughts from you when you get your, but I'm hoping they will release a note 8 2014 edition to rival the ipad mini retina, I'd cop one of those in a heartbeat!

Why can't somebody just make an 8 - 9 inch Android tablet with the STOCK OS (so no to the Kindle Fire) already. 7" too small and 10" too big. I really wish those Nexus 8 rumors had been true.

No updates? Did you get it yet?

I've ordered one after returning an ipad air and am excited about it's arrival but read today that the galaxy tab 4 10 is coming next year with an amoled display!

The ipad air looked like chicken scratch compared to my note 3, LCD jus cyaa match amoled, the colors, blacks and whites are just superior on an amoled display. May have to upgrade to the tab 4 when it's released jus for the screen, but from the reviews I've seen the note 10.1 2014 edition has a really great screen even for an LCD so I'm sure I won't be disappointed. Ipad jus not for me anymore though, too restrictive.

I had mine all ordered but after the revelation that samsung would be releasing new tablets jan-feb I cancelled my order.

Looking at either the Tab Pro 10.1 or the Note Pro 12.2 depending on specs and how big the Note feels in hand and ease of carrying it around

Best Android tablet now is the 2013 Nexus 7. That's what I'm getting to accompany my iPad. I'm sold on the Nexus 7 2013 version.
