Network Co-ordinator (MIS/IT6)
The ICT Division in the Court Management Services seeks a Network Co-Ordinator. Salary range $1,658,960 - $1,971,982 per annum and any allowance(s) attached to the post.
The Network Co-ordinator is responsible for co-ordinating the technical functions required to support the Information and Communication Technology needs of the Courts.
Key Responsibilities
Assists in conducting risk assessments to identify user vulnerabilities and makes recommendations;
Makes provision for maintenance of a computer network that is secure, reliable and efficient, and which ensures adequate response throughout the network;
Provides leadership for the installation and configuration of the computer network, and enhances network effectiveness by solving communication problems;
Provides database maintenance and administration by making updates, repairs and/or enhancements as needed;
Manages the process of installation, configuration, maintenance and security for databases within the Courts;
Installs and updates the database server and application tools;
Monitors and optimizes the performance of the database and restores it when required;
Performs programming tasks using programming languages based on the Division’s software policies and procedures;
Maintains archived data for database applications;
Ensures the database information is backed up and a recovery plan is completed;
Maintains contact with database software vendors and/or resellers for technical support;
Keeps abreast of upgrades and new releases of software for the benefit of the Courts’ Information Technology needs.

Minimum Required Qualification and Experience
A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or its equivalent from an accredited tertiary institution
Four (4) years’ experience in a related field with two (2) years’ at a supervisory level
Certificate in Network and A+ or its equivalent from an accredited tertiary institution
