Digicel definitely has better data service, that is one of the main things they got out of the Claro acquisitions. I was a Claro customer before they got bought out, I would say latency has gone up, but peak speeds are still pretty good. On the other hand Digicel's call quality and dropped calls have gotten pretty bad.
Hopefully LIME can give them some real competition. I definitely not gonna switch till the they sort out their data service.

3G service is poor in the D.Park area that's the reason why I just set my phone to work on EDGE.I thought they would have jumped to Dual Carrier HSDPA+ 42 mbps since LTE won't be coming to Jamaica anytime soon.Although they can do a software upgrade to DC-HSDPA+ 42 mbps. Most of the caribbean islands are going LTE except Jamaica that is always at the back of the line.

Is Digicel 3.5G network based HSDPA 7.2 mbps or 14.4 mbps?
