Maybe he doesn't have an s3 or up, I found some crazy stuff to put on my note 2, think I paid for them, had more options than I needed, but I didn't use it much cause it was crap
Some gravity sumn or other, and some other apps, not as fluid as if the phone was built with it
Some good features were lift to answer swipe to answer silent the phone face down not just while ringing etc
