    Clean, and very affordable
nice features like remote tech support. Dolby sound dual speakers
Would buy the $139 hd one for my nephew.

Even the $229 hdx version is a great offer.

I must say... that MayDay feature is quite impressive.

This aggressive pricing strategy is meant to lure customers to the amazon brand as a whole, so amazon will profit from on video on demand services (amazon prime)

Great product and excellent business strategy.

I'm an advocate for cheap/budget but this is not cheap enough....
Sold the last generation one kindle fire 7hd I had for wife "mint" for $10,000 just to get rid of it.
    Fire OS: Garbage
    No Play-store: Garbage
Price point: 7inch HDX for $229 too expensive for overall experience despite the great screen quality 2gb ram and processor.
    Screen: nice
    CPU: overkill/nice

Would recommend asus memopad hd7 over it as the best bang for buck budget tablet on the planet.

    Ahh... the beauty of opinions
