Default Apple Maps flaw results in drivers crossing airport runway

Saw this story on the BBC website this morning. Crazy shiznit!!

Looks like Apple maps is still in Beta almost a year since its first release which wouldn't be a big deal if people's lives were put at risk. I mean giving people directions by sending them across an airport runway?!?

See Tim Cook apology letter here:

Runway shouldn't be open to the general public anyway

Simply don't use it, especially in Jamaica. Many common Jamaican places not listed on apple maps

#Priceless...As well as if the developers realized that it was a runway they would send people across it. The ultimate shortcut.
