Acer Aspire problems.....
got a aspire that charges only when off. what could cause that? if i try run the laptop w/o the battery it starts to boot then shuts off.
while the laptop is running, all the lights are blinking. the light on the power button, the HDD light n battery light. what could cause that problem?
also, when the laptop starts to power the background is pink. when it reaches desktop my regular background is there, its just blurry. could this be a cable problem?

Adapter could be faulty or not the right amperage to charge up the battery.
The blinking lights could be a board issue - check the number of blinks and see if there's like a blink code for it.
The last issue could be a screen or cable issue.
Knowing the solution doesn't mean knowing the method. Yet answering correctly and regurgitation are considered "learning" and "knowledge".

alright, the charger is ok. tried another one. same thing. thing i realize though is that the blinking occurs only when the charger is plugged in. so what do you think about this one?
and the last one is indeed cable.
Back to square one....., back off the ground now........
