Which system of the next gen family are you getting?

For me when both were announced I was 100% for the PS4. But the thought of that horrible playstation controller was stuck in my mind.

So then I was 90% for the PS4. Now M$ has retracted from all their nonsense policies. Like no Kinect required, used games etc. And The xbox has a very comfortable controller.

So now I am 40% for Ps4 and 60% Xbox One.

PS4 when I get one. Can't handle 2 consoles, barely time or dedication for one. And, being a person that doesn't exactly like to settle for weaker hardware and having only 2 options, with the cheaper one being the more powerful... Well... decision made easy really. Smaller, better looking hardware. Then there are the games. PS has my games.

Controller-wise, its easy ps4. Has more features and uses. The xbox one controller really has not many notable additional features. I am not concerned with the shape. My experience with the arrangement of the xb controller layout wasn't good, but I could adjust if I had to. I prefer the symmetry of the ps controller layout right now.

The xbox controller didnt need much improvement.

Do a google search for best console controller almost all sites ranked xbox 360 controller above PS3 controller. So Sony had more room to improve.

You dont settle for weaker hardware? lolz

Cough lame gpu in ps3 cough cough.... Much weaker than xbox 360's gpu long cough....

Anyways I bought a WiiU and love it.

As for Xbox One and PS3 I am more leaning towards the Xbox One right now. Maybe I get the Ps4 if the controller feels ok after I try it.

there are only 2 choices when it comes to consoles. I tried to qualify the statement. I would not choose the weaker of the 2. I wouldnt feel right having a xbox one when i coulda got the ps4 for less (if the prices stay the same). The talk about the ps4 having compute capabilities was also convincing.

The additional functionality on the controller is welcome and is why the ps4 controller is winning in polls. if its just the shape that got the xb360 ahead then it's not a big deal

    True about that in bold.

No sense buying a PS4 and not playing it like I did with the PS2 because of the controller. So I will try playing a PS4 before deciding which to buy.

Both. But I'll be getting the PS4 first.

    PS4

*Sony has always had better first party support.

*Better controller for my needs. Great for shooters and action titles, but also really good for fighting games.

    *Free games at launch.

    *Lower price point.

*Microsoft's insistence on using that ugly neon green has turned me off for the better part of a decade. Yes, I'm serious.

PS4, but not until a good while after it's out. I'll need to see what kind of games it'll have. I'm hoping the game library will be as diverse as the ps2's since Sony seems to be trying to cater to the hardcore gamers this time.
