Default OpenPGP e-mail signing and encryption

Is there anyone here who signs or encrypts their email?
Otherwise, how do you prove or verify e-mail authenticity?
Do you use LIME's email service?
Do you know how to probe SMTP?
What is the SSL-secured port for LIME SMTP?
Does anyone use https://cacert.org as a certificate authority?
Do you use keyservers for GPG/PGP keys?
Do you think email encryption would have prevented those mail hijacks of yesteryears with the "Jamaicans exposed" and such?

Those girls who sext don't know about encryption other than phone lock. No one I know encrypts their email message.
