    Once it says DISABLED that means it's unlocked. ENABLED means that it is locked. Kind of like - LOCK - ENABLED/DISABLED.
    Knowing the solution doesn't mean knowing the method. Yet answering correctly and regurgitation are considered "learning" and "knowledge".

    My bad... i didnt see the box come up for me to enter the code. or option to change to sim from disabled.. the options weren't changeable,

    Here's what i see,

    Sim Disabled
    Network Active
    Network Subset Disabled
    Service Provider Disabled
    Corporate Disabled

    and at the very top Sim Card No Valid Sim Card

    sometimes the box does not pop up unless u enter a foreign sim (a sim different for the network locked) when u are at that screen type mep2

    yep. i did, used a digi sim. but even after some battery pulls, am not seeing the option, its T-Mobile branded

    MEP2 brings up nothn.. MEP4 brings up the screen with the unchangeable menus.. as i spoke of previous

    Ok. i figure out the problem.. thanks all for ur incredible support. am quite a BB novice , i should hav held down the the arrow button to change from letters to numbers, the code worked Thanks Diarrik.
