That's true i will switch also just waiting on my Note 2 to get here for the summer, to me its the dumbest move RIM ever made cause really and true thats what hold most of their customers, and them just launch the Z10 also even tho its still wack to me.

Only thing Blackberry had going for it was the messenger and hype.

Now that we got whatsapp and the hype is pretty much dead then they will die slowly while Android fully takes over.

They go be around a while though since they will be getting cheaper now until the new generation gets into the Android world fully.

hmm globally bb has less than 5% of the Smartphone market, which means they dont even have any customers to loose. The few (AND I DO MEAN FEW) jamaicans who still for some reason have a bb makes up less tha 0.1% of the less than handful of customers so that does not even mean anything in the bigger picture.

So getting BBM in the hands of millions on IOS and ANDROID was the only move they could make. It is being used as free marketing of the BB brand, thats why the app will be free.
