Do/Did u really use the Vaio specific programs that came on the machine? If push comes to shove you can prob still download them from the Sony site if you really need them that bad. Ifi was in your shoes and did all of that... I would of said Time for a re-install!!!

I think that's the only option right now. To re-install IE require re-install of windows. here goes...
