same thing with me bro, i was marveled by the xperia z's announcement, but i was un-marveled after seeing how they were priced on ebay lol, and the reviews were so-so(in comparison to devices in its class), damn!!! if only the oppo find 5 was more widely available

If I can get one I will but seeing as I used it before I can always relate. Having the actual device would do well with size comparisons, screen, OS differences but these kind of comparisons aplenty online.

As tempting as the Oppo Find 5 is I would rather stick to a known brand plus their UI is very cartoonish...and how widely will that phone be supported by developers?

I see your point still, but oppo is not unknown, they've been making highland electronics for a while now, and recently entered the smartphone arena, the find 5 isn't their first phone tho, for a while they had the title of the world's thinnest phone at 6.9mm I think (lol) one does not achieve such a feat with mediocre engineering my friend, unfortunately you might be right about developer support tho as it seems to only be available in China, gsmarena says it has the best build quality of any phone its ever tested, which is quite remarkable for an "unknown" brand, and for that $500 price tag I'd tell the devs to keep their support lol, regardless tho you made your choice, the Z is a really nice phone, maybe in a year when the price reach bout 4 bills I'll consider it lol

There are also other unboxing videos. The xperia is a hreat device the clear advantages are

1)Being waterproof some what
2)Excellent build quality
3)2 GB RAM
4)Faster Processor (Quadcore 1.5ghz RIGvs Quad 1.4Ghz)
5)SUPERIOR CAMERA QUALITY

The disadvantages are

1)Insanely expensive parts list (Hence exorbitant price) ... Got to love Sony device for wonderfully built devices tho
2)Non Removable battery (Dont have to say how much of a bother it would be if a battery went in this AIR TIGHT device... Because I AINT PULLING IT!!)

The only advantage it has is build quality ( Not easy to break)

As for the rest 2GB ram isn't an advantage, cpu isn't an advantage, camera in't an advantage.

The parts aren't expensive either. You have to pay for Sony.
