^ Hardware is just a part of it.

Nothing matches the S3 or note/ note 2 in features right now.

I would still buy a note 2 now over anything on the market.

    A phone's appearance is one's opinion.

EDIT: FYI the gpu cant be outdated when its brand new http://withimagination.imgtec.com/in...wervr-graphics

EDIT2: The Texas Instruments OMAP 5 is faster than the Apple A5X, but at what cost?

There isn't really anything to compete with the note is there? Manufacturers are just taking the form factor seriously I think

2010. But I am not sure what is what. maybe they put more than 1 or 2 in there. It is clearly relatively old though.

I have no problem with plastic. Its the best material ever made.

The next gimmick is eye scrolling. Scrolling with your eyes. So excited to try that out.

How dare you lol..... Eye scrolling is not a gimmick it's innovation. Software taking advantage of hardware. This is what we need. Higher mega pixel cameras and more cpu cores than we can barely manage those are gimmicks. I'm excited to try out eye scrolling. I use smart stay permanently. So this will be a welcomed feature. I agree with you on the whole plastic issue. I have forgotten completely that my phone is plastic. My phone is so amazingly wonderful who cares if it's plastic.

innovation? It's a gimmick unless they somehow find a way to do it right. You use your eyes to look around the screen, if the things u try to look at move just because the phone thinks you are trying to scroll, it gets weird. You wouldn't be able to look at anything not in the center of the screen. I am guessing them will have either eye gestures or you use your fingers to turn it on and off (defeating the purpose). We'll see.

My post gives you that impression? Its speculation. Your eyes are not the best to control something for your eyes to see. Its like tying scrolling to your finger movements when you need to touch something on screen. Unless you go in from directly above the object, it will move with your fingers and be always out of reach. If they do it well, then great. On the face of it though its not that great an idea. There are probably solutions.

    edit:
    http://mobilesyrup.com/2013/03/06/le...atures-on-gs4/

Looks like its not exactly eye scrolling. It just scrolls if you are looking at the screen. Ppl will turn that off. The nice ones are smart rotation, stay and pause. Though they aren't must haves and there are situations where some of them could be unwanted. The head is what controls scrolling and that makes more sense since your eyes are free to scan the screen.

How do these things affect battery life? I know you note 2 ppl have a zillion mah on yours so you don't care, but I turn off my phones front facing camera features for battery. To have the front facing camera constantly on to facilitate this stuff, you must need a large battery.

Ok that what I thought. You haven't used it.

until you use it your speculation holds no grounds.
