Also note that BB10 runs Android Apps BADLY but it does run 2.3 apps under emulation. All i can say that they could have come out with a worst phone MUCH worst so far its on par. Dudes talking about pushing technology and complaining about the 700 cost, lol.

Well at least BB move up a notch now. @Owen I would not choose BB10 over windows phone at this present moment in time. Windows Phone is much more mature than BB10 and offers a better application library. Maybe in a few years from now we will see BB10 evolving into a more formidable competitor. But as it stands now my rankings are:
    1. ANDROID
    2. Windows Phone
    3. BB10
    4. iOS and other bottom of the barrel platforms.

One can argue and say that I am being biased because iOS has a huge application library and a thriving eco system. Frankly iOS fails for me because of
    1. No innovation in the platform since 2007
    2. The platform is a SLAVE to iTunes
    3. No memory expandability options
    4. Proprietary Data And Charging Cable
    5. No form of wireless data transfer to non iOS devices.
    6. Battery is not user replaceable.
Plus I could go on an on about iOS. Every other platform allows for options and communication across platforms via wireless data transfers whether via BT, WiFi or even iR where it applies. iOS is stuck on permanent lockdown offering NO options whatsoever. This makes it a failure for me. All these sentiments are coming from an Apple user. I just choose to be an objective Apple user.

Here is another review of the z10 by Arstechnica. I would say its a good start but they need a miracle to claw their way up the smartphone rankings just by being so late to the modern era. From a technical standpoint I would have agree with Cultus' sentiments except that I would place iOS higher on that list. Why? As most people don't care about the issues that iOS is deficient in otherwise their sells figures would not be as astronomical as they are now.

Its pity that Windows Phone cannot receive some love from consumers considering the positive reviews it gets from Technical Reviewers and Developers alike but in time maybe. Microsoft has enough money to wait it out and improve on the hardware design if their partners don't step up to the plate.

I would say basically the z10 is a major upgrade for existing Blackberry owners that are in need of a upgrade over the current offerings but new users to Blackberry will likely not find anything to win them over that does not existing in the other platforms.

Lets see how the market responds...

    The good

The size and build quality are excellent.
    Feels good to hold.
    The software keyboard is exemplary.
    Camera is a passable point-and-shoot.
    Performance is mostly smooth.
Battery life is respectable, and should get you through a work day.

    The bad

BlackBerry 10 and its gestures definitely take getting used to.
Specs are OK, but not necessarily for the price.
You're dealing with an entirely new smartphone platform, so the app store leaves much to be desired.

@Cultus If I can raise enough money to get one soon it might be a nice platform to jump on to. The android and iphone markets are pretty crowded.

I couldn't agree with you more. I really see BB10 evolving into a Beast of an OS once BlackBerry can get the devs on board.

And this is why I said I am utterly disappointing with Blackberry for releasing a flagship phone of this magnitude with mediocre hardware. This new device which is suppose to be the savior of BlackBerry should be screaming out loud with INSANE SPECS even if the OS is not coded to take full advantage of it just yet. The INSANE hardware would definitely be the eye candy for hardware geeks, also service as the impetus for the Dev community to develop killer apps for the platform. Unfortunately BlackBerry decided to take the parsimonious route I just hope for the company's sake it does not turn around and bite them in the behind. There is nothing attractive in blackberry land right now to convince Hardcore Android and iPhone loyalist to jump ship... this new flagship BB10 device is just for the die hard BB Loyalists. At least good for them they can now have a taste of the technology that Android had from the days of Froyo... DWL!!!
