Jailbreaking with ios 6.0.1
Anybody tried jailbreaking their iphone with ios 6.0.1 ? I carried my 4S to a technician and he said jailbreaking would lead to me not being able to pick up data service anyone know how true this is?

there is no public IOS6 jailbreak for 4s and 5. So based on the question
you mean having IOS 6.0.1 on your phone and applying the jailbreak 6.0 to it.
Yes i have done this on my 3GS and no issues.
Only Pre-A5 devices (iPhone 4, iPhone 3G/S and iPod touch 4G) can be tether jailbreak to IOS 6.
Unthethered jailbreak iOS 5.1.1 is available though for the 4s
