In my estimation a single manufacturer will try as best as possible to use similar hardware to reduce manufacturing costs, therefore similar hardware must be present on the manufacturers own line. For all android companies though you simply cannot draw the conclusion that all phone makers use the same hardware that would just be silly.

Compare the Sony Xperia T to the Samsung Galaxy SIII to the HTC One X and tell me they are all the same hardware wise.

No Sah.... surface can go and suck it... Vapor mag chassis and all... lol From what i been seeing the RT version is somewhat under-powered, cant even run cut the rope and some other simple games properly properly... smh. Sad... Real sad. Prolly its due to the creators of the games not optimizing it for the metro environment properly or something? i dunno... but it still looks bad on microsoft to the average consumer.

    something like THIS or THAT.

Mi did think a me alone no rate the surface still, well at least software-wise. Windows RT could never be a techie's choice its just so damn underpowered. Might as well get an iPad (mini or w/eva) to do the things you can do on a Surface with RT. Now those devices you posted Yung_Hero, them a shot like a m16. Really loving the concept of full windows on a tablet which is what Microsoft should have done bout them lame *** surface. If they had two versions of the surface still one with RT and one with full Win8 then yeah, altho i think i read about a rumor of a PRO version of the Surface still but anyways until i see something concrete Surface can suck it!!!

NB. Still totally loving the iPad Mini btw!!!!

They will have the surface toting the full windows 8 OS in the coming months. When it's released I hope Microsoft learns from the shortcomings of the RT version... and for the record I would never get an iPad mini over a surface RT as under-powered as it is.... lol I actually been using win 8 like 2 months now as my primary OS and loving it.... Apple's OS and ecosystem really not my style at all to be honest. Its kinda scary that Microsoft is taking somewhat the same route like apple has been doing... but we'll see how that works out. I like the surface hardware design, but they should have gone with better guts. tegra is nice and all but... wont cut it for the power user. Waiting to see what will be in the Win 8 surface.

As for them asus hybrids... sexy as !@!$#!$!$. Nuff said.

Well when I fix up my laptop i intend to start running Win8 because i'm using my sister's laptop for the past few months i decided not to mess with it. But gotta upgrade soon still can't be a techie and stuck in the past right. Well as long as they gonna have a full desktop experience on the surface soon i'll definitely be looking into getting one. But for now my money is on the ipad mini. I kinda love/hate apple the one hardware button thing is so annoying sometimes especially when i just wanna go back not have to go to home and switch apps from their or use a gesture that sends me through a bunch of other open apps sometimes i just wanna hit back and its not there. But other than that its pretty decent in my experience that is.
