Which is why I will never buy an HTC phone. The Amaze 4G was the last best thing from HTC. There after they have lost their mojo. And to think I used to rate this company. I agree with King_Jay16 if it ain't got a microsd slot I ain't buying it. Jomo you hit some very key points as to why a microsd card is still of major importance. I use the cloud but that does not mean I trust the cloud to store my super sensitive info and personal porn. Also it takes nothing for the cloud service provider of my choice to lock up shop one day and stop offering me free cloud storage. What happens when the internal memory of the phone gets fried, or what happens if the phone itself gets bricked or fried. I have to say bye bye to all my data. When if I had a microsd card in it, it's a simple eject and insert into another device and mi data good to go again.

Valid point...The concept is as simple of the fact why I have NEVER built any system using onboard Video, Sound back in the earlier days just for the fact of independent components are are reliable in the event of an unfortunate short circuit or JPS scheduled anti customer power spikes. It make me wonder if manufacturers are moving forward of backward in their technological thinking.

I dont have an issue with htc but im still looking at the nexus devices to see what will happen
