digicel 4g settings

i hava a motorola photon 4g mb855. i call digicel to have the 4g settings but they say i have to take it to store to have it manually configured. can anyone assist me with this settings

Dial *143#, then choose and activate your 4G plan.
Set the APN to web.digiceljamaica.com

That should be it.

can some one tell me if this phone is actually compatable with digicel 4g network before i waste my credit and time

yes it should be as it has the 850band according to gsmarena

I tried that today, didn't need to set the apn as digicel sent it and auto configured my phone but i'm still only getting EDGE, phone previously got H+ on lime

digicel said they didnt have the settings to send to my phone i must take it to them so that they do it manually. i did that and gotonder if i through. am getting 3G. wonder it is my location

Settings psilos gave should be fine, shouldn't have to carry it in, prolly just the agent u spoke to dont kno how to do it. Where are u located? I finally got H+ on my phone this morning but it constantly switched between that and 3G
