The problem is still there...Attached a fan....but that didnt solve the problem
Anywhere before the power cable plugs into the router - just cut into the cable (don't have to cut it off totally - just cut into it) and either solder or tape in the wires for the fan. Then mount it (the fan) on the router after making the necessary hole/s or try it with the cover off for a while - ensuring the fan doesn't fall in and cut something......... If you want to get fancy you could solder on a connector to the end and put one on the fan so that when you plug in the router you attach that as well.
We never know too much that we can't learn. Unfortunately most Jamaicans are about "hurry come up" and swatting than actually learning....

The chip still getting hot? Or it's running cooler? If the chip is still getting hot then chances are the router definitely going even when you have cooling on it.

It is still getting hot....even when the fan is there.... and the fan is pretty much spinning fast ...
