I am using FLOW and I am seeing two DNS on the status page....why is that?

In my mind, I was considering to reset the FLOW modem, but I am doubting that it would make a difference seeing that I can connect via ethernet cord fine. Browsing throughout the day, downloading and so on. Then when I switch to the wireless, I kept getting a disconnection after some minutes. This morning I tried it, thought it was alright....after browsing for a good 45mins or so, it went off.

I erased the last 3 digits of the IP address...

I notice that the subnet on the status page is different from the setup page.....Status shows 255.255.254.0 while Setup shows 255.255.255.0

Also, tonight I decided to experiment on something.....changed the IP address each time....and I was able to connect for say 45mins to an hour.

Is it possible to think that FLOW is tampering with my router? Or the router is indeed going bad?

Because your PUBLIC IP and your PRIVATE/LOCAL IP are different. Don't worry about that. The router may be going. Could be that the chipset getting hot. Install a fan.

Your ip address does not correspond with your subnet mask of 255.255.255.0. I would suggest changing it to 192.0.2.1 or 10.0.0.1 whilst leaving the subnet as stated above.

I have been changing the IP address....and I continues to get a yellow symbol over the wireless signal bars. I have to be changing it each time to get successful connections.

Felt the Atheros chip and it was really hot... so possibly Khat17 is right.

If your power adapter is less or equal to 12VDC then you can splice the fan connector into that instead of soldering it on the board. Then just cut out the top of the router and have it pull the hot air away.

I have a Desktop fan at 12VDC. Splice the connector and put it where? Cuz I am thinking its safer to sorder (like on the video link I sent...they put it at the bottom of the circuit board. I am not sure what you are saying.
