Anyway, if anyone knows the answers, feel free not to love man and answer them

    Aftermarket supposrt?

So in other words you HAVE TO put on custom roms and kernels and snailshells to have the phone function as anything decent?

    Sad

Cultus you can't answer about the s3 BECAUSE YOU DO NOT HAVE ONE

No. Modding isn't for everyone. Some people prefer modding there stuff doing this and that. You should have no need to mod the S3 as it already is a great phone.

    1. The whole screen infused issue, is it really that fragile, if I drop it is it the end of it? Even in a case? And how much accesories available locally? Like a silicone skin or otterbox

    2. I saw my coworker streaming tv shows, how many apps are there like this that are any good, paid? And can it be streamed to a laptop or tv? Via wifi or dnla?

    3. Is it better than the s2 in terms of vibration, ringer volume, general features like profile etc

    4. What killer custom roms are there and what features do they have, and what to come?

    5. Any other info will be appreciated
    1. Not really, that is more a matter of opinion, however it does make more expensive to fix the screen if you have an issue.
    2. Yup has the same features in regards to streaming as the SII did with DNLA. Streaming on your phone numerous applications that do so: netflix is one among others
    3. That is based on opinion, best way to determine that, is to test one out.
    4. There are many and will be many to come, ranging from CM to MiUI
    5. If you can get sometime to play with one, do so before buying one.

Seriously why are you guys wasting time with Jomo....? Jomo appears to be suffering from some form or bipolar disorder, I suppose he is in a manic state now hence his ramblings and supposed new desire to try out an S3. I bet you all my last dollar that as soon as he buys it after 2 weeks he's gonna start complaining and sell it...going right back to his BB. Whether or not I own an S3 (by choice) is not the issue here Jomo. The fact still remains that you are a schizophrenic individual. Why should we waste our efforts assisting you, only to have you crap on our advice in the end like you ALWAYS do?

Thanks for the answers, ignoring the therapist

    So.... This DNLA thing now

    I have a newly purchased 60" lg...

But I'm thinking that without wifi (not the 4g hotspot I have on my bb) I won't be able to stream

Is it possible to stream to the tv, rather the 3d blu ray with wifi etc, without wifi? I'm doubting it

    So....

If I use a hdmi, does the s3 have mini hdmi? Can I simply plug it in and watch what I'm streaming?

Just want another option, to the hard drive/built in connectivity that normallyy sucks

And plus I'd be using mobile 4g so I'd want to use up the data

Apart from that it seems pretty straightforward, and I've had one to test out and so far I see nothing to complain about, as a second phone/mini tablet/browser/multimedia I'm thinking it would do fine

    Thanks

Jomo, you cant stream without wifi and you are going to need a MHL/HDMI adapter to connect the S3 to your tv

If you have a 3d blue ray player with wifi, then stream using the wifi , why complicates things by trying to stream without wifi, and having to connect using a hdmi cable?
