Phone boot looping

I recently removed my sim card and my micro sd card an factory reset my phone and sent it to kgn for someone to buy it now they get the phone and all of a sudden it boot looping, do you think a simple OS install will fix the issue remember im not in Kgn and if so can anyone in kgn help me out plz

if is the mytouch 4g and its still rooted and all just install a diff OS but make sure the wipe EVERYTHING (cache,dalvik cache, and of course the data partition) maybe the person not being totally honest with u n all try install a incompatible kernel or some crap

My Brother was that person. He Actually went to inspect the phone before handing over cash. He said that after inspecting the hardware he began checking out the software then he noticed the screen was blank with the only thing being visible was the signal bar, the battery, etc. Everything else was blank and could not be accessed not even the settings. He then restarted the phone and instead of it coming up it just went into the Loop.

Do you think That maybe it was because the same SD card that was used to root it was not inserted???

the sd card I used to root it was a 4gb card that was replaced long ago with a new 16gb card, I factory reset the phone and turned it on an it was working so im not sure what the issue was but im having it sent back to me today to I can reload the OS and see if that solves the issue (which i beleive it will) if I was in kgn I could have solved the issue in 15 min but I hope he never thought I was trying to trick him or anything, I was even calling a few repair places in kgn and one guy told me he would charge me $2500 to reload the OS I had to ask if him tink mi a ediat, he start the say he have to download the software and this and that and I said but how long is the 300mb file gonna take u to download and them him start to fumble too wicked and tief.

Im looking out for tara anytime now still so as soon as I get it and reload the OS I will send it back upsince he is still interested in it

Him good man as he supposedly told you already that rooting was what he usually do so him woulda know some of the problems faced when rooting android. Just sort it out and shout him back

I would suggest if you have the time, restore it full factory specs and OS first then re-root it.
