Re:DDR RAM Vs RD RAM
Better would be Rd Ram, But for value for money you would have to go with DDR. Although RdRam is faster than DDR Ram, RD is newer and much much more expensive. So you might as well settle for the cheaper ram for the time being.
Besides DDr isnt that slow

Re:DDR RAM Vs RD RAM
DDR RAM has comparable performance for a much better price. It's also easier to install. Think of it as AMD versus Intel again. Come to think of it, DDR was developed by AMD. RDRAM was developed by Intel.... :

Re:DDR RAM Vs RD RAM
Yup I support and will always buy DDR..... But peeps isnt RD RAM a discontinued technology. I'm sure that intel dosen't support it anymore. They now conform to the DDR Technology ??? :

Re:DDR RAM Vs RD RAM
I think it is cuz most mainboards coming out now all use DDR. And I remember at one point that Intel boards use to use Rambus memeory but they have changed their standard now.

[/quote]A very informative link Yogi. I was always under the inpression that 1 single 1GB RAM Module would give better performance than having two 512MB Modules. Now I've learnt that it's the total opposite......nice post man
