    I'm new to this thing, so dont rush me plz. lol

    first question, does the GPS work in ja?

    Yes. Make sure to get the updated Google maps, that way you can make up to 6/7 off line GPS maps so you can use the maps even if you lose data connection. Or you may want to look into a truly off line GPS program

    No problem. You may also want to look at some dedicated offline GPS apps that do not require any form of data connection.

    its a app like google maps but it doesn't require you to be connected to the internet to use it.

    Also check out the android app thread in the stickies

    I downloaded the complete map of the city I live in. I tired downloading the whole state, but the app said I am not allowed.

    The map size is a maximum of about 80mb each so zoom out till it tell it is too large...

    I got in about half of Georgia by slight overlapping maps.
