    Default Choice of internet modems

I am an UWI student who lives on campus. I need a stable source of internet. Can anyone advise me as to whether Digicel or Lime modems are reliable and effective and if so which one is better? (not usb modems)

Suh y u affi diss di man dem WiFi suh? lol
I've used Digicel's 4G on my PC and get around 100kbps. That was tethered, not with their separate modem but the speed should be similar I assume.

You could try Enabling or Forcing Torrent Encryption in uTorrent or BitComet and see if that allows torrents to work.

Mi nuh think UWI wifi is worse than Utech or my current school.....

Nonetheless your best bet is to use VPN for bypassing them torrent block... forcing encryption in your torrent client may or may not work depending on how they have their network setup.... it also needs to be a two way thing to work... the peers you are connecting to must also have it turned on in their client and the tracker must support it.

You may also want to use private torrent sites that support SSL encrypted trackers so uwi/isp can't see your data or what you doing
