Default Galaxy Nexus or Galaxy S3??

The time has come when I must part with my beloved HTC Desire. It has served me well but an upgrade is well overdue. I'm tossing my mind between the Galaxy S3 and the Galaxy Nexus. I like the S3 hardware but I hate touch wiz UI. I like vanilla ICS and JB seems to have polished it off even better. In that regards I'm liking the GN, and the price is almost half that of the S3. Do you guys think the GN is a good buy now or should I feed on patties for a while and get the S3?

If you after vanilla OS get the Nexus.

You wont have the luxury of using an sd card though.

the nexus has the advantage of 4.1 now but as a owner of the s3 it is just so amazing plus the 4.1 is a big selling point so i figure the s3 will have the 4.1 update in about 1 month time so i say s3

If you love the Vanilla Android go with the Nexus as you will get the updates before anyone else. If you want features go with the S3

As long as the nexus line uses memory cards from the next one on. Then I will stick with those.

I personally would say s3. It probably going to take the next generation of Nexus to be on par with the s3.
