I understand why you all like xfx. Cause living in jamaica warranty is very important.

Not like here where I can go down the road and return my card if it goes bad.

For me I dont like xfx.

The only good cards they have are the ones you have to pay extra for. Example black editions.

Outside the BE cards you get cards with cheap components.

While others like visiontek etc gives you high quality at no extra cost.

When I say high quality I am not talking about cooler. I mean components on the board.

My fav was sapphire until they started going the xfx route. My fav now is Asus.

Don't disagree but so far I haven't had any issues. Maybe I got lucky. The lifetime warranty does lure you still. And they respond quick to the support issues (mine at least).
We never know too much that we can't learn. Unfortunately most Jamaicans are about "hurry come up" and swatting than actually learning....

I was actually going to get the same card for that same budget, but realised you can indeed get a much better one for just $50 more, so I ended up getting a EVGA Geforce GTX 560 SC Edition. Seems the price drop on it again now though as when I went to buy it di ting jumpt from 189 to 199 lol.

It got a lot of great reviews which is the main reason I bought it and for the two months I have it now it runs everything with good frames in 1920x1080 resolution mode and it overclocks very well. Can't wait to SLI it.

Found a good Overclocking and Benchmarking guide here:

Thank you, thank you for pointing me in this direction Powpow. $50 more wont hurt much to get this type of performance and is excellent for the Z77 system I'm preparing to build... Just one more thing to get out of the way.

Yup, they do. Just make sure you register your product on their website as soon as you get it.

Just as above. They were going to mail me the new cooler but I opted to have them send it to my US mailing address - rather the security of that even though I going have to pay for it.

I got my new (refurbished) cooler from them in the mail within a week and never had to pay a dime.
