Don't you see that what Apple is doing with this new MBP is sick. They are trying to pioneer a shift from the non integrated laptops as we know to this nightmare.

I am pretty sure they intend to have other manufacturers jump on their bandwagon because they know how people think, they know that people will buy this crap just because they want to say they have it.

We live in a sad world.

You are indeed a smart techie... this will be the new trend in a few months, maybe years from now... suh we can bash Apple all we like... when Apple sneezes every other manufacturer/developer catches the Apple Flu.

I spoke with my artist friends that use Macs and they said hell no to purchasing a the new mbp... Hell no on the basis that it's too expensive. After inquiring some more, I found that the fully integrated system doesnt bother them really.

Mindless nulls I tell you!!! *sighs*

i really think that the future is generally going to shift towards non upgradable pcs' but for the price of the apple devices there are so many better options. i just hope that with these non customizable pc's the customer service of the companies behind them will develop at the same pace as they will be seeing more returns from their global market.
Also the market for people who wish to create or customize theoir pc's will always exist so powerusers have no need to fear the chages that we are now seeing.

SO in truth and in fact we are moving back into the world of integrated circuits and parts, WTH??!!!!!! Are you serious, didnt we leave that type of PC building behind like 20+ yeards ago? It is true what is being said however that apple users tend not to care about customizing or knowing anything about the machine itself (I have a few Mac Fan boys on my friend list) Anything happens they send it off to apple, the ones in JA have to either wait till they can cop a plain ticket or send it with some1 and then wait how long to get it back, hence the reason MBP owners usually also have an iMAC and an Apple Skydrive somewhere nearby, they know that it isnt perfect and apple knows how to get them buying.
