    1. Its still 16million colors despite the resolution(18bit). Higher than 1920x1200 is only supported in certain apps.
    2. Ram is soldered on the board. You cant change it. More profits for apple.
    3. 256GB storage really? Laptops come with both ssd and hdd for less of a price.
    4. Price fails...

Other than that, it is ok
The difference with me and other Techies Pezz is that I am logical... and anything that does not make sense to me I will just say it... now you outlined something that seriously have me re-considering procuring the Next Gen MBP. WhY ThE MUCK did Apple solder the RAM to the mainboard.... SERIOUSLY!!! Suh wah going to happen if or when I develop a Bad Memory or for some reason one of my RAM chips decide to act all coo coo.... You telling me right there that I am going to need a NEW MAINBOARD Yuh Mussi Mad nuh hell... Dat can stay... I will keep my present MBP... after all it's still highend and serving it's purpose well... I notice that Apple kept the present MBP lineup they just upgraded the specs. I hope they did not solder the RAM to the board..Please find out for me Pezz... Next Gen my @SS. I just hope they don't muck up the MBP Line.

The higher resolution graphics would get Apps support remember Apple and their Dev community have a vibrant relationship going... and seriously for people who use Macs it's all about Final Cut Pro , Pro Tools, Adobe Premiere plus the others. Macs are generally used for Cinematography and the likes.... so I am not worried about the super high res display... at least Apple has officially outdone the 1080p standard. That's one innovation for me right there.

Added to the list of fails.

Everything is proprietary. So dont expect to upgrade the storage or anything without shipping it back to apple.

About the screen, LG makes them and 1600p has been around for a while.

Default New Retina MacBook Pro, calls it ‘least repairable laptop’ yet

Our friends over at iFixit took their screwdrivers to the latest MacBook Air refresh yesterday, and they found a design that is largely the same apart from adjusted SSD-related components. They are at it again today, but this time with the new Retina MacBook Pro. Unfortunately, iFixit found changes to the new MacBook Pro that makes it “the least repairable laptop” it has taken apart. They gave it a 1/10 repair score:

Based on what I just read. I will add the New Retina MacBook Pro to my list of failed "not to get" items. Really sad I tell you. Such a Beast, yet the Beast is tied down and kept restrained to the mainboard, making it irreparable 1/10 Jah know star. Mi feel a way and here I was preparing to sell my MBP to get this. Thanks for the heads up Pezz.
