i tested out digicel's $100 plan yesterday on my cell to see how it ran(wanted to know what changed) seems to me like with the new plan the 512 mb last longer, after browsing and chatting for hours(whatsapp, facebook,messsenger) i got a text saying i have less than 20mb remaining, an hour after i got another saying i have less than 5mb's remaining, before it ran out i logged in to the self care page and checked and i was given the option to add another package to the remaining which i have left, i have to say this is a nice addition to digi's system, didn't add any though, i'll support them again next week lol

and i did make a few voice calls using whatsapp

how did u make voice calls using whatsapp im curious also it is decided Im getting a Galaxy Nexus, its not wat I really want (One X) but at $350 the price really can't be beat

Just tested it... gave me a warning: Operator cost will apply, calls are made through your provider and not over the internet

When you are in the chat page of your contact, hit your menu button. It should bring up a menu that has call

No, the "Call" functionality is there simply for your convenience. Mobile carrier charges apply for voice calls made from WhatsApp.

lol whatsapp isn't free for making calls, was just testing it out, use vibre for the free part, it uses voip technology(uses your data package)
