Finally completed the single player mode. Enjoyed every second of this game and will play it again later on the unlocked difficulty and try to find all the golden guns this time.

Last part took me about 10 tries to complete but ending is good so was worth it.

Best Game I have played since the original modern warfare. The story is actually very good and the cinematic pieces are top notch and that's saying a lot cause i never like sitting through most of these cinematic but the ones in Max Payne 3 are worth it. the game play Takes me back to the original Max Payne. Even the dialogue is really good.

This is DEFINITELY a game you will play through a couple a times guaranteed.

I didn't find it to be as good as the original, but it was still fun. Graphics are also very nice when maxed the f' out at 1080p and it runs perfectly throughout, which has to be a first for Rockstar as all their games usually have issues on PC, but it's obvious that it was a different version developed specifically for the PC as opposed to console ports from their previous releases, so I applaud them for that.
It ain't nutten special enough for me to keep on my HDD though, taking up 30+ GB, that's just insane. I hope no other games ever have to be that huge (anytime soon).

Playing this game now and i must say its one of the best games i played for 2012 so far. THE GAME LOOKS GREAT WITH NVIDIA"S 3D vision too with bullets and particles flying at you.

Look like you will have to stick with the MMO's TechLos

Well it's not very noticeable, but it makes the game look a lil better:

As we discovered, however, the effect that this tessellation technique has in-game is minimal at best. Here's a comparison shot:

In all of our tests, we found that tessellation did little more than "bulk up" character clothing - something that's almost non-distinguishable unless two images are looked at side-by-side. In talking to NVIDIA about this, we were told that the biggest differences would be seen in close-ups of characters, such as around their ears or head. However, getting close enough to a character to see a difference like this is easier said than done. There's no camera zoom in the game, so where the differences stand to be seen are in cutscenes.

For a better example, I recommend downloading this archive (400 KB, JPG) and view the included before and after images full-screen. When flicking between them, the differences with tessellation on are noticeable, but are not necessarily "better". In some cases, I'd say tessellation makes characters look even worse. There are exceptions, however. In these shots, Max's hands look far more natural with tessellation turned on. It's the rest that's debatable.

There is a difference, not any that you'll see in a pic like that. Tessellation mostly affects characters. When it's on, they look more detailed, especially areas like nose, ears and wrinkles. I've even seen sweat believably run down his face. It's impressive, but it will be even more when they can apply it to every testure in the game world.
