    Default Server 2003: User Restrictions

I'm trying to stop users in a Windows Server 2003 environment from having the ability to install, uninstall software and also to stop them from being able to download, they are around 10 or so users and an Active Directory is in place. Apparently whoever structured the systems before didn't put this in place or at that point in time it wasn't a need or an issue.

You just need to setup policies for each group that you want to create. Users - super users - limited users - etc.

If you're note familiar with the server environment then just search online for ACTIVE DIRECTORY, GPO or OU followed by what you want to do and you'll get results.
