    Default Beware of Paypal Phishes

    Checked my email this morning and got this message

    and since that senders email nvr look too right, & I didn't have a paypal acc. in 2007 I got suspicious. so I checked the link it was sending me to on a phishing site and got this:

    page looking exactly like paypal. just a heads up.

    Thanks for the tip i havent got any mail like this the site does look like paypal i only use my paypal twice in the last two years so prolly will get one lol

    They're probably making use of services such as ->http://www.sendanonymousemail.net<- or using some programs that do the same. I've seen and tested out a few apps that do that actually. Maybe if you check in the mail header you can see where it was actually coming from.
    Knowing the solution doesn't mean knowing the method. Yet answering correctly and regurgitation are considered "learning" and "knowledge".

    It's pretty easy to spot these fakes...just mouse over the links to see where they really lead to.

    resession scam? how so? these things have been around for years...paypal to Amazon to your long lost cousin from africa.

    Here's another one just received. Not gonna fool many people (even has french on the side)

    but the page it sends you to would fool people...if they don't look at the url...
