Yes you read correctly...Orbis is the new PS console thats in development. Planned released is in 2013 around Christmas.
1st bad news is that no backward compatibility with the ps3 titles...sucks but yeah....

Used games have always been a thorn in the side of game companies (from their perspective). The fact that this console is going the same way as the Xbox gen3 with the anti-used game measures, its not surprising. I think I am opting out of next gen consoles entirely.

That GPU supposedly allows it to output at 4k resolutions... At least it'll be future proof 'cause I think the cheapest 4k tv is around $20,000USD O_o.

What are the chances that its going to be worst than the ps2? I don't see the releasing it until 2014 - too much invested in ps3.
