i know someone with a dell or is going to get a good dell Laptop i dont know im jsut a friad of Laoptop screens if you keep a laptop in good care how long does the screen go for before it just goes Black How Many Years???

There is no easy answer to this as the durability of the laptop sreen depends on these things I'd say:

+The quality of it in the first place. This will be dependent on the brand
+The user. How the user handles it.
+The warranty maybe.
+Also the design on the laptop may also help because based on the design and how the screen is placed and "hinged" the life might also get affected.

But a good build under normal conditions and proper usage should give you more than 3 years I think.
