    Default port forwarding with lime clear access sr100g

    need some help with port forward on a lime clear access sr100g.
    i want to do port forwarding to get in my dvr from anywhere.
    i dont have a static ip from lime.
    please help in advance

    have you thought about using dynamic dns on the router ? , this is probably what will solve all your needs ..

    still no luck, i tried accessing it outside the network and it's asking me for the clear access(LIME MODEM) username and password.
    i used admin and admin locally, but trying that remotely doesn't work.


    the lime new clear access router sucks big time

    Can you tell me the setup you have on the devices .
    Modem - server / pc - dvr , modem - router (wifi ) - pc / server/dvr , modem - dvr

    I also have the same modem and I used the url below

    http://192.168.1.1/admin/ a username / paswword box will pop up just enter admin for both fields.

    Port forwarding is done in modems? I thought it was done in the router.

    Both. The modem allows external access to the router then the router allows access to an internal IP/port.

    Further to Chris's comment, most "modems" issued by ISPs are actually all in one devices (modem and router) and referred to as a Gateway.
