Default LIME offering iPhone 3G for $239.20 down

So while on twitter, I noticed their account advertising the iPhone 3G for $239.20 down and $4,988 per month. What do you guys think of this deal? does it sound reasonable for someone who is not big on Tech but who still wants the apps and iphone services?

Mobile data on this plan is 1 GB
Data usage per MB after is $10.75

NO Way. The data play may sound good, but you are still 2 generations behind the 4S. The 3 megapixel camera is not that great (at night).

For that price, it had better be a 32GB unit. I don't know why LIME has chosen to accept Apple's outdated units and "tek wi fi eediat".

Then again, it'll run iOS5, so it sounds reasonable until I realised that after you finish paying for the phone, you'd have ended up buying a brand new factory unlocked iPhone4S for that price.

The customer service agent I spoke to, said 3 years. I'd rather buy a 4S instead for that (final) price.

Even at 24 months it still too much (even when LIME adds their extortion fees).

This is plain math and I still can't believe the figures. over 200k for a phone almost 3 yrs old? Lime really take people for fools eiidiats.
Then again they'll be proven right when people actually take up the offer. (and they will)
Many people only think in the here and now, oh 5k a month not bad and won't even calculate the 3yrs worth of 5k/m

as you seh Nneka, a man who not so tech wouldn't even pree how old the phone be, and the cost maybe great to him but personally i think Lime deh pon a whole new form of crack. Thats financial rape on my pocket for a phone thats way behind.
I havn't broken any terms of agreement right ?
