think about it mad, if u getting 100gs a month and dem only tek the half +500+gct ur left with 50gs to carry u through that month and the next month u have a full 100gs to urself, not a bad bargain compared to some agencies that I think require u to pay a percentage per month for a period of time.

Mr. Job Jamaica is not the only Recruiter service that operates like this. Many other employment agencies accross the island operate in this fashion. I guess you have the choice of being paid half your first pay check and still have a job or none at all.

I think the OP said half your first week's pay, not half your first paycheck. Sounds like a good deal to me.

mr. job does require though, that if they find a job for you, a half of your first week's pay plus 500(+gct) is due to them. and it is automatically deducted from your pay by your employer.
