Blackberrys - Why they are still cool

im not a fanboy or loyalist to any company...
im not a techie person... but love technology... its ever changing....
just the other day i say a girl post a galaxy s2 for 66k... think is better than my computer... now tell me this is the phone i would want to use.... will i be paying 66k for it??

android isnt even a phone... but a OS that runs on multiple devices....
and as far as i know... without changing a thing on the phone is that each phone company has his own way with the OS... and even if your phone has the potential to be upgraded to the lastest release of android.... it all depends on the manufacturer to push the updated software

blackberry has it market... best believe jamaica is one of them

Dwl a lot o persons here knows bb is the lada of the smarts phones but there ego wont let them admit it. But bbs are never cool and i have been
using smarts devices such as palm and windows since 2000 and bb is still not as cool as my compaq ipaq pda i had in 2001 when i was going to college i still have magazines from office depot and radio shack with these devices. Blackberries arent cool they weren't designed to be cool. Honestly i cant think of nothing that would make that phone cool or me to even consider one. A cool blackberry good one lol

if u lived in america, im sure u would have signed up for unlimited text(sms).... now isnt using bbm basically the same....
lets look at it from a different angle... what happen to all the 'gyaliss' out there.... nuff a dem dont even use BIS but use a social plan.... $1000 from digi 700 from lime... now which plan out dere can compete with that... unlimited texts by way of bbm, checking facebook, and tweet to my friends

y'all forgetting is a cellphone unuh using... and my bb make me do the basic functions of a cellphone to it fullest.... that is... to make calls and send texts....

u cant blame rim for how there produce is used.... they made a device for the business world but in some countries its more than a business device....
its like when tommy hilfiger say he made his clothes for white people but its most black people wearing them...

if i lived in a different country i would definiate own a iphone and not a android... because as far as i see it... i prefer to spend my money with companies than spend on RnD...
like ive seen android phones that are newer but yet older models are get upgraded....
with a bb or iphone at lease u know whats going on for your device.... we already know about development on newer os.. and we know which devices its getting ported to....

i can bet most of u android techies are linux fans too.... and how long has that fanbase been trying to get linux mainstream... they couldnt do it with a pc so they switched over to phones... and as with linux... anybody can alter the way it works....

like seriously... tell what is it you do on a android thats so different from what a bb user is doing... like not all the techie stuff...
the only thing that bb doesnt have that the iphone and androids got is a good collection of games.... but if u check out the playbook.... then thats a whole different story

Yes You can... I have my own avatar (.jpg) and status message on my WhatsApp... Plus Digicel now offers Non-BB Phones Data Plans for as low $1,750... I think BIS costs $1,600 something, not much difference there really... and from what the birdie is whispering in my ear... Digicel will soon be marketing Android now that they have a 3/4G network... so yes even in backward Jamaica RIM is going to slowly lose it's dominance. What you gonna do or say when that happens.. Change is coming brother...even RIM smells it, which is why BB10 is coming... and never think for once that I am loyal to any company or brand. I am loyal to my needs. I have been through every brand of smartphone... and if BB10 comes with a Bang and offers me exactly what I want in a BB then there is nothing that's going to prevent me from owning a BB again. Just that as at this present moment in time BBs are useless tech junk.

Pezz, he's simply trying to build up his post count man...probably him have two BB him want to post for sale in the classifieds because i read his post and boy...it was full of ignorance. I can list a plethora of things that a BB cannot do apart from gaming. But I will not lower myself to that level of ignorance.... Ignorance is Bliss for BB users, leave them be to enjoy it.
