    trying to find some info on GCT schedules, have not bought a pc since last r and I brought it in with global, don't recall if it was gcted

    Yeah GCT is on computers now so expect to pay around 23% (when the other duties are included) on the price of the computer that you have your eyes on and remember that has yet to factor in the weight of the computer and or you courier fees, also Global Courier no longer exists you should have received an email from them when they were being acquired by Mailpac.

    yea I use mailpac now just could not remember abt gct on laptops etc. I did find the info on MOF website. No wonder the country is moving backward.Education must suffer

    how much % to clear computer and parts including the gct
    I AM NOT TECHNOLOGICALLY DUNCE AND WOULD BE A FOOL TO TRY AND CONVINCE AN IDIOT

    In all fairness the reasoning was sound when it was removed according to the PM at the time the majority of computer imports were done by businesses either for resale purposes or to use within the business, so a lot of them were just getting away on the other hand it was just the minority of computer imports that were being used for educational purposes versus just straight up profit.

    Including the GCT it is around 22-23% when I checked around a month or so ago.
