    This thread is already dead since admin edited my post instead of deleting it.

    If you use a bulletin board/forum script... It's a forum. Period. The ends justify the means so there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. Very few developers go through the hassle of building a custom cms.

    Yes... I visit the site more, that's a given... Just not more than most avid users nor my employees.

    Unlike most developers here, I know that sharing connections with competitors will help any site. Which is why claja links back to most if not all of those sites mentioned. Hence, the promotion or urge to make ones niche relevant.

    For selling and trading nothing beats shopinja its the boss jamdeals is good but not many traffic is not so good there

    Agreed, shopinja is the most active market forum. Jamdeal is an auction site, my mistake for even adding it as a classifieds at the start of this thread.

    I guess more people are accustomed to the forum style in Jamaica, as opposed to a classifieds listing like Craigslist (#1 classifieds site worldwide) or Claja. We are slowing turning that around... Claja.com is a top 10 most visited 'Jamaican' website since February (http://reviews.gcoupon.com/view/coun...s_Jamaica.html). The average item sells/trades within hours, some items like Blackberry phones sell in minutes. An unbiased review would be great, we make use of our testimonials.

    Anybody interested in contributing to our blog? Any article about Jamaican ICT services will do, and you can link to your site/blog. Contact me.

    I stopped visiting shopinja ever since they limited guest views to 2
    if i want to buy or sell anything I go to ebay.
    jamdeal seems slow to develop

    There are no viagra listings on our site. You are welcome to sell yours in our adult section. Is Facebook a 'Jamaican' website?
