I am sorry. I believe I may have caused confusion by mentioning FIFO first in my explanation. My understanding is that thread priority is not done at the hardware level but is dictated by the Operating System's scheduler. For example, in Windows they are 5 thread priorities, Lowest, BelowNormal, Normal, AboveNormal and Highest.How do you set thread priority then?
