    Cool iOS 5 Goes LIVE! Officially Released!

    Yes guys I am running iOS5 on my iPad2 without a developers account. Came across an article Thursday night and decided to do some research on installing iOS5 first and found that few of my tech friends have made the transition.

    All I can say it is freakin AWESOME!!!

    iCloud isn't activated as yet.

    Is that a proper version of iOS5? It's only a few days away, I would wait.

    The GM (Gold Master) is out, which is what will be released on the 12th, bar some cataclysmic bug or vulnerability found within next few days.

    I'm gonna just wait till Oct 12. But trust me the excitement is killing me. iCloud is what I am dieing to experience.

    im gonna wait it out also ... they probably have alot more tweaking to do from Gold masters to official release .. its less than a week to wait .. why bother

    Bwoy i dont even get my iphone yet aguess my iphone will come with ios5 out of the box yea to that but i want a quick jailbreak cant wait

    Yep. Most definitely. Apple wouldn't want you to be jailbreaking that so soon.
    I suspect that they are using a dummy baseband in the iOS5 beta to trick the dev team in releasing their jailbreak too early.
