really....hmm my account link to my visa debit card i only put money on the card when i know im going to need to make purchases online so most times it jus has a little over 1k in it....i dont recall seeing the $180 charge....gonna check later n report back still

not really the case enuh.. his balance is too low so them nawh guh backdate him yet. When it goes above $5000 then a day or so after them deduct the backdated charges...

Perfectly said. That's what they did to me once, just that the minimum balance then was 2k. On a serious note though what are they charging you for? If your balance goes below 5k what is the service being rendered to you at that point that warrants a charge? These banks concoct ways and means to pillage peoples hard earned money. Gone are the days on interest earned. Now we are plagued with service charges of all kinds. Thank God for institutions like JMMB where some interest can be earned.

thats what i been wondering since day....wtf man....jah know no wonder ppl tell me scotia is a "rich man" bank so what exactly u guys saying....if i lodge say 10k in there they gonna charge me for every month i went when my balance is less than 5k?

Exactly so. That's exactly what they did to me. They deducted their money for every month I was below the minimum balance.

I only use the account to get cash from ppl in ja and withdraw it up here from a BOA account for free... now that i got it added to my US account can transfer funds from it now...

if you keep it on the ~$5180 zone or below they won't take out the charge as then they would be the one sending you below the $5000 minimum...
