If Android gets ported over it would be more than worth buying at 99 dollars. For use with a subpar dead OS with no apps? Not so much.

Well they all sold out all over the net so go figure.

This state of mind is not common, but it is essential for right thinking; where it is absent, discussion is apt to become worse than useless.

I bought 3 of these for me, ma mom and bro.

IMO even if the os is crappy, @ $99 you just can ignore or pass it up. I nvr thought of an HP tablet but at $99 I would own 10.
HP finally turned an unwanted unsellable product of over a month into one of the highest demand in just 1 day. They should be proud.

Proud of selling a subpar tablet at a massive loss? Yeah. The unit cost of a HP Touchpad is about 300 dollars to make. This tablet has been nothing less than an unmitigated disaster for HP, and a windfall for hoarders to resell on ebay.

An OTA update may be on the way...at least support has not halted.
